The Journey:
Madurai to Hamburg
After years of exploring Europe, we noticed a gap that no traveler should have to endure: a total absence of authentic South Indian beverages. No matter where we went, the refreshing, spiced flavors of our South Indian roots were missing from the shelves.
So, we stopped searching and started creating. Our mission is simple: to transplant the beverage culture of South India into the heart of the EU. By blending the deep traditions of our headquarters in Madurai with the uncompromising quality standards of Germany, we’ve created a cross-continental masterpiece. This isn't just a drink; it's the beverage we travelled the world for, finally brought to life in Hamburg.
"We didn't just bring a recipe; we brought the soul of South Indian staple to the Elbe."

Voices of the Paanam Lovers!
"Best desert for summer, coconut milk with the chunks and the flavour of cardamom was awesome. Go for it ☺️"
"Delicious and refreshing elaneer payasam with a rich coconut flavor. The dehydrated coconut bits rehydrate well and add a pleasant texture. Not overly sweet, so you can adjust sugar to your taste. Perfect for a quick, satisfying treat."
"We recently enjoyed Elaneer Payasam at a friend’s house, and it perfectly captured the authentic taste served at Tamil weddings. I was surprised to learn it could be prepared so easily at home using a product from Paanam; they simply prepped it in minutes and let it chill. Bringing such a beloved Tamil healthy dessert to Germany is a fantastic idea, and I would love to see restaurants offer this as an alternative to the usual Mango Lassi, as it is definitely something I would buy and serve to my guests."
"Finally, a Payasam mix that doesn't taste 'instant'. The cardamom infusion is breathtaking."
